‘House Music Hedonism’ was the name of the game as Resident DJ took over Suburbia Southampton with our first SOCO LOCO

Top emerging DJ’s descended on Southampton from across the UK and Europe to play the first of many SOCO LOCO club events at one of the best little venues in the city.

The ethos behind SOCO LOCO is to provide the best platform for new and emerging house music in all its forms and the community that adores it.

We love labels like Selador, Knee Deep In Sound, Anjunadeep, Anjunabeats, and acts like Hot Since 82, Camelphat, Gorgon City, The Prodigy, ARTBAT, you name it. If it sounds good, it’s in our playlist and our passionate DJ’s and budding producers want to play it for you.

The first SOCO LOCO was a nervy night as we launched on pride weekend in the city and we knew there was going to be a lot of competition for audiences. Despite that, we knew we were gifted a special opportunity to play in a club with a rejuvenated and revitalised future and we wanted to show Southampton what it was missing and pay back the faith Suburbia put in us.

We loved our time here and we were greeted with so much positive feedback, we knew we were on to something special. We couldn’t turn away an opportunity to return with SOCO LOCO in 2025.

Each of the DJ’s involved were integral to the success of the night, not to mention those who took a chance on us for theirs and our first time with SOCO LOCO.
